Pergamano

This is a parchment craft which started in Europe centuries ago but re-surfaced in the 19th century.  In 1988 finding it difficult to get the materials needed to keep up with the popularity of this craft “Martha Ospina” and her husband started to manufacture the materials themselves in the Netherlands, training students in the fine art of parchment.  Since its introduction in the Netherlands, Parchment craft has been introduced in 25 countries all over the world.

Pergamano combines inking with a nib combine, painting and embossing to create the beautiful pieces you see in this section.  Although white is widely used, these techniques can be done in a variety of coloured inks and paints.  The parchment paper is also available in many different colours including rainbow which has a graduation of colours throughout the page.

3D Cards

These cards are created by layering a series of the same picture & pieces of that picture giving it the appearance of a delicate inlay and creating the 3 dimensional look. This is created by first placing the picture on a card then with self adhesive 3D foam tape you place another piece positioning it over top of the last. In most cases you will end up with about 3 layers creating the look you desire.
